ABOUT THE ARTIST
Welcome to Jennifer Wynne Photography. I am a photographer and digital painter located in Keller, TX. I became a professional portrait photographer in 2001. While I continue limited location and studio work, my passion has shifted to digital painting and fine art photography. Using Photoshop, I employ brushes and various techniques to turn images into works of art that look like an oil painting. I fell in love with this medium several years ago and have been working on perfecting my skills ever since.
My favorite portraits are those I create from my clients' images. From your own phone or camera snapshots, I turn photos of your loved ones--human or furry--into art. I also can paint your travel photos into lovely art pieces you will be proud to display in your home. I work with you as I create your image so that it will be exactly what you want. I do not use any filters for these pieces. Every image is hand-painted. Please visit Custom Photo Art for more details about these pieces.
My other images reflect my interests. My husband, J.D. and I love to travel. On our journeys, I am constantly taking photos for my photography store. I also have a passion for photographing flowers, so you will see a lot of flora. Please visit My Shop to see my various prints. These prints are available in a variety of sizes and mediums.
Jennifer Wynne Photography is a one-woman and two dog show. I will make every attempt to turn around your order as quickly as possible, but please understand that if I’m traveling, your purchase may be delayed by a week or two. While my “puppers”, Jazz and Kendi are super smart, I have yet been able to teach them to order images from my production lab. So far their skills are limited to giving me breaks, so they can have their bellies rubbed.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Can I hire you to photograph an image for you to paint?
-
Of course! As long as you can travel to Keller, Texas, or if you live within 20 miles of Keller, Texas I am more than willing to photograph you, your child, or your pet and then paint your favorite image. Please contact me regarding the session fee. If you live further than 20 miles from Keller, I may still be able to come to your home—it will just cost you a little more!
- How long is the typical wait before I get my image?
-
Provided I am in town, the wait for one of my fine art prints is typically between one to two weeks for printing and shipping. It may take longer around the holidays and if I am away on vacation (typically 5-6 weeks a year), so be sure to plan ahead! For custom art, it takes me approximately one to two weeks to paint your image and an additional one to two weeks for printing and shipping. If an image is needed for a memorial service, sometimes I can meet rushed deadlines. Please order early for painted portraits you want for Christmas, as I am limited as to how many images I can paint
- Can you paint another photographer’s image?
-
As long as you are able to obtain written permission from the other photographer, yes I can.
- How do your custom art images work?
-
I paint all of my custom art images using Photoshop, an Intuos tablet, and an art pen. For a custom art portrait, I will have you email me your photo or photos (I like to have several images of pets, if possible) in the highest resolution you have. I will work with you for preferred background colors as well as the image size and orientation. Once I have completed your painting, one revision is included in the painting fee for me, so I can fix anything that appears “off” or wrong to you. Further revisions are $50 per revision.
- If I live out-of-state or out-of-country, can you ship to me?
-
Yes! I can ship to almost anywhere in the world. The shipping fee is less than $10 for most items shipped to addresses in the contiguous United States. Please contact me for shipping costs outside the contiguous United States.
- Can I insure my image on my homeowner’s policy?
-
I provide a Certificate of Authenticity for all my fine art and custom painted images. Most insurance companies will accept this, so you can insure your valuable artwork.
